This lovely lady is the happiest dog we have in kennels at the minute. She has had a permanent smile on her face and has won over our kennel staff with her loving nature. Ernie
Southampton His current carer says: Ernie is a very cuddly, friendly boy who likes to be close to his favourite people and lives for belly rubs! He loves exploring in the garden and walkies is his favourite time of day, especially if we pass lots of dogs and people to play with! He is a clever boy who knows the commands wait, away, in your bed, sit and down. He is also toilet trained, is fine left on his own for a few hours, greeting new visitors into his home nicely, and travels well in the car. Ernie is a good boy but like all dogs, he has his cheeky side! He will counter surf for crumbs if he gets chance, he pulls on his lead on a walk and he has no recall if let off his lead…unless he is in a pack and then he will follow what the other dogs do! He can hear a food packet rustle from miles away and is very food focussed but will go into his bed when told to so you can eat in peace! He likes to be fed away from other dogs so he can enjoy his meal without feeling threatened and he sometimes get a bit posessive of his favourite toys. Ernie would suit an experienced dog owner who is child-free, cat-free and has a confident resident dog who he can play with and learn from. Gregory
Gregory is a gentle boy with a heart of gold. He has a cheeky, happy-go-lucky personality and is fun-loving. Gregory was rescued with his mum and 2 siblings from the side of a motorway when he was a puppy. The fire service helped us in our rescue because the puppies had wedged themselves into a wall and were trapped. They were all sucessfully freed and his 2 siblings Gordon and Gwendolyn were rehomed. Sadly, Gregory and his mum Georgi have been searching for a home since but both have been lucky enough to remain in private foster in Romania. They are described as being ‘extremely friendly to people, dogs and cats’ by their current foster. As Gregory has never lived with children, and due to his playful nature and size, he is looking for a child-free home or a home with older dog savvy kids. If are looking for a fun, friendly, cheeky chappy, then Gregory may be the dog for you.
