Mishka

Glasgow This absolutely gorgeous girl is Mishka and she is a gentle giant. She has stolen our hearts since her rescue a few weeks ago and we would love to find her a cozy home. Mishka was found on the streets with a prolapse and some dental problems. She has had a hysterectomy and dental treatment and has now been signed off by our vet as fully fit to be rehomed. Mishka’s lovely foster mum says: Hey y’all! Mishka is basically a big baby who loves being petted and brushed. Her fur is growing back lovely since arriving and she is well and truly making herself at home now! She is a gentle giant who can live happily with other dogs, cats and kids. She is housetrained and is learning basic commands. She does have selective hearing but overall is a very good girl! Wookie

Devon Wookie’s foster says: He’s getting on great with my resident dogs (a girl and a boy, both older and bigger than him) and is understanding of their social cues. He’s doing great with housetraining having had only a couple of small accidents in the house and getting really good at using the garden now. Wookie has discovered an absolute love of toys especially anything with a squeaker! Due to his age he does still mouth when playing so we are focussing on training around this and know he will grow out of it soon! Wookie’s incredibly confident and not at all phased by having 3 legs! He dashes around the house, and up and down the stairs, with no problem at all. He appears used to household noises like the TV and fan and is totally unbothered by them. He hasn’t been on a walk yet having only been with us a few days but we’re planning to do that in the next day or so! We also haven’t tried leaving him yet so can’t comment on this. He hasn’t been cat tested. I think that due to his age and playfulness, he would be most suited to a cat-free home with older children. Olive

Adorable Olive is the typical puppy! She’s playful, fun and cheeky when awake but is still sleeping lots as she is so young. Olive was rescued with her 2 siblings from a remote roadside. Sadly her siblings did not make it, but she has spent a few weeks in foster care receiving TLC and lots of attention, and is now ready to be rehomed. Olive has had the all clear from the vet and has her bags packed ready to travel! Crash

Birmingham Crash was adopted in 2021 but now needs moving to a quieter home. His family have had a new baby, who he loves very much, but he is overprotective and stressed by the new addition so needs a calmer living space. Crash’s current owners say: He’s a proper cuddle buddy who thinks he is a lap-dog and adores company, especially from women. He is crate trained and will take himself off if he needs space, but doesn’t stay there long! Crash needs space to run and would love a home with another similar size dog because he loves to play. His favourite toys are ropes and small tennis balls. He also likes being covered with blankets and the quilt! He has mastered basic commands like sit and down, and can also dance! We are still training wait and this will need work. Crash loves the car and travels well. He knows we are going somewhere fun and interesting when we get in! He does have a prey-dive so is kept on-lead unless in a secure field because he will try to chase anything that moves quickly, including cats and push bikes. Crash can be nervous of men at first but with proper introductions, he soon makes friends. Crash is the best dog ever, he just needs a calmer home environment than we can give him. Elsa

Elsa is a very gentle, shy pup who is looking for a patient and loving home. She has the waggiest tail and is a super friendly girl with cats, dogs and people. Having recently been rescued with her brother Aladdin (he’s looking for a new home too), she will need time to adjust to home life but with patience and love, we know that Elsa will soon become your new best friend….she will provide you with loyalty, companionship and lots of wags and licks in return!
