Lincs Introducing Tecky, the irresistible bundle of joy with ears that are as big as her heart! Tecky has a joyful spirit and a personality that is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. However, poor Tecky had a rough start to life. She was found at the side of the road in Summer 2024 with a severe break in her leg which required surgical treatment. Tecky had a metal implant to help the bone heal (which has since been removed) and she is now fully recovered and raring to go. Tecky does have a lifelong limp caused by her injury but this doesn’t bother her or stop her from doing anything. She now needs to find a forever home who will love her for her quirky looks, walk and personality! Glasgow Winnie is a beautiful collie cross, she absolutely loves the outdoors. She is in her element when she can feel the grass on her paws & the wind on her fur. This girl would quite happily sit outside in the garden all day, with not a care in the world, relaxing. Winnie would be over the moon to find a forever home in a rural location so she could go for walks, run & play, it is everything she loves She would need to be in a home with another dog/dogs she loves the company & they are great for her confidence Winnie has come such a long way since her arrival in 2023, she has gone from a very scared overwhelmed puppy to a confident, very intelligent young lady With ongoing training & continuing the confidence building Winnie will go from strength to strength Winnie has the kindest heart, she has never shown aggression towards anyone ever at anytime & she has never once barked (only in her sleep ) She is described as a fantastic dog in so many ways, energetic and quirky- Full of character. Joey
Birchington, Kent This little boy is Joey, he is just the cutest ball of white fluff. Joey is a boy who know what he likes from cuddles to his food He likes to be with his human, would you like a new shadow, a best friend to share your days with because with Joey you would definitely have that. Joey loves to be centre of attention he would be great living as the only dog. He is living with other dogs at his foster home, they do all get along very well but Joey likes to have a grumble if someone is getting more attention than him Joey has been working on his training & socialisation, he didn’t like going for walks so much because of his small size he was a little overwhelmed. With the training (which he enjoys) he is getting more & more confident each day to walk, he is slowly getting there Travels well in car and walks well on a lead/harness. Very wary of traffic if walked on the street. He has good recall. He is fine meeting people and small dogs, but can be a little reactive to larger and/or boisterous dogs. In foster with 2 other rescue dogs that he gets on with. He is very affectionate, and loves to snuggle up on the sofa, needs to be the centre of attention. He is learning to play with a soft toy or a ball. He knows the commands sit, wait and loves being groomed. He needs to be brushed regularly. Would suit as an only dog, or with another similar sized dog. He is fine being left for up to 2/3 hours. (Although would have been with the other dogs) Not sure how he is with cats or very young children! Overall Joey is a cracking little dog, he loves attention & spending time with you. He has such a great personality so he will be great company for you. Willow
Leeds This gorgeous girl has had rotten luck so far this year….She fell out with her owners resident dog & had to be rehomed, & then has only been at her new home a few days when permission for her to stay has been declined by the management company despite the landlord allowing it. Willow is a beautiful 3yr old Shiba Inu X (23 kgs) who needs to be the only dog in a cat-free, older child/child-free household. Willow’s owners wrote: Willow really is the most loving, fun dog with us & our children aged 11 & 14 yrs. She is loyal & affectionate once she gets to know you, & she loves human attention…. especially strokes & sofa snuggles. Willow is a clever girl & knows basic commands (sit, lie down, paw, stay) but is quite sassy so will require a treat as payment! She enjoys the challenge of learning new tricks & likes to please. Being so food focussed really helps with training. Her inquisitive, fun & energetic nature means she really enjoys exploring during on-lead walks & is a huge fan of running free in secure fields. Willow needs work on her recall because she gets so excited when she’s on an adventure that she forgets to listen….but she is a sucker for a game of fetch! Willow does get scared by some dogs when out on walks & will bark at them. She’ll need help with this once she has settled in her new home but it will be a good way for her new owner & her to bond & build trust. Inside the house, Willow will happily spend time playing with squeaky toys, playing with homemade enrichment toys & munching on long lasting chews! She is happy to be left alone for a few hours after having a walk & will sleep whilst you’re out. If you’re looking for a dog that likes walks and snuggles, Willow is your girl…..
