Our adoption donation is usually £550 (£600 for Scotland) – older dogs may be less (£450). The donation covers vaccinations and any medical care, neutering (when age appropriate) and travel to the UK, when we aim for home delivery.
Before we start the adoption process, which includes a video request and telephone call as well as the application form, please tell us a little about yourself and your family. We are particularly, but not exclusively, interested in your garden and its security, family working patterns, some idea of your dog-owning history and your postcode. We recommend starting from the outside at the front of the property, show a 360⁰ view, then a walk-through of the property (you may choose to show us any parts of indoors of your choice) and out into the back garden showing us the boundaries in sufficient detail to see heights, bases and any gates and their latching(s). At some point in the video, if you can turn the phone around and introduce yourself [or both of you and dog, where applicable], that will be appreciated. There’s nothing like the personal touch!

Mossmania rescue
We rescued rolo from romania 2yrs ago & never regretted it. Mossmania are so helpful kept you informed at all stages of the journey. Rolo was delivered to our door by a lovely driver with paperwork. Mossmania help doesnt stop there. They give full backup service for help & advice which is run by volunteers who are constantly trying to raise funds . Theres a mossmania adoption group for help & advice too. Cant rate them enough great from start till now long may they continue
Wonderful dogs from an amazing sanctuary
We have adopted 6 gorgeous dogs from Mossmania and have always been happy with the experience. As other people have said, all communication is very clear, the transport over from Romania well organised (we were kept fully informed as to where they were and when they were arriving). There is also a great deal of support once you have your dog - there is always someone to help with any queries you may have. The Facebook group for owners is also full of lovely people sharing support and pride in their gorgeous pups!
Mossmania are a trusted rescue
I have fostered for Mossmania four times and adopted two of their lovely dogs. The volunteer team work reallt hard and make themselves very available, so communication is clear and easy, and paperwork all in order. They provide rescue back up and do their best for the dogs long after they arrive in the UK. Most importantly they are a team of volunteers who always put the dogs first.
